The UltiBets IDO was slated to be our first Forge sale. For those who missed it, Forge is our new unified community membership+ Tiers + APY contract. Under the Forge system, 20% of funds raised in a given sale go to the forge and rewarding Forge members. This is meant to incentivize long term XRUNE lockup for boosted APYs, which constricts circulating supply, boosts price, and rewards loyal community members all at the same time.
As today's sale started it became apparent the new Forge system wasn't clear to much of our community, in particular those who had stayed in Tiers and not entered Forge yet.
Recognizing this, we have decided not to enforce the 20% Forge fee that will be present in all future Forge sales.
We will continue trying to get everyone up to speed on Forge, which is the future of Thorstarter community membership and IDO participation.
